Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 13 September 2026

Please note: These Terms & Conditions are intended for your interior design advice subscription service. They should be reviewed by an Irish solicitor before you launch.

1. About the Service

Interior Designer In Your Pocket provides a personal interior design advice service delivered by a qualified interior designer.

The service allows customers to receive personalised interior design guidance, ask questions about their home and share photographs of their space for design feedback.

Customer conversations take place through WhatsApp unless otherwise stated.

2. The Designer

The service is provided by Fiona Bichard, a qualified interior designer with a degree in interior design.

The service is based on professional interior design knowledge, experience and individual judgement. It is not an automated interior design chatbot or an AI-only service.

3. What Your Subscription Includes

The monthly subscription currently includes:

  • Personal interior design advice
  • Questions about furniture and room layouts
  • Advice about colours and finishes
  • Guidance relating to styling and decor
  • Feedback on photographs supplied by the customer
  • Personal communication through WhatsApp

The service does not include architectural services, structural engineering, building control advice, electrical or plumbing advice, quantity surveying, construction management or any other specialist professional service unless expressly agreed in writing.

4. Price

The subscription price is €36.99 per month unless another price is clearly stated at the time of purchase.

Any applicable taxes, including VAT where applicable, will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

5. Recurring Subscription

The service operates as a recurring monthly subscription. Your subscription will renew each month unless you cancel it in accordance with these Terms.

Before purchasing, the subscription price, renewal arrangements and cancellation process will be clearly presented to you.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your cancellation will prevent future subscription charges after the applicable cancellation point.

Nothing in these Terms removes or limits any statutory consumer rights you may have under Irish or European law.

7. 14-Day Withdrawal Right

If you purchase the service online, you may have a statutory 14-day right to withdraw from the contract, subject to the exceptions and conditions provided by applicable consumer law.

If you expressly request that the service begins during the withdrawal period, applicable law may allow us to charge for services supplied before you exercise your withdrawal right.

Where applicable, information about how to exercise your withdrawal right will be provided during the purchase process.

8. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information about their space, preferences and requirements.

You should not rely on interior design advice as a substitute for specialist professional advice where a matter involves structural safety, electrical work, plumbing, fire safety, building regulations or another regulated area.

9. Design Recommendations

Interior design recommendations are provided based on the information and photographs supplied by the customer.

The customer remains responsible for checking measurements, product specifications, availability, suitability and installation requirements before purchasing or installing products.

10. Photographs and Customer Content

You may send photographs, measurements and other information about your home through WhatsApp.

You confirm that you have the right to provide any photographs or other material you send to us.

We will handle this information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed, the design concepts, written advice, recommendations and other materials provided as part of the service remain the intellectual property of Interior Designer In Your Pocket to the extent permitted by law.

Customers may use advice supplied to them for their own personal home and project.

12. Availability and Response Times

WhatsApp messaging is used as the communication channel for the service. Messages will be answered as soon as reasonably possible during normal working hours.

The service does not guarantee an immediate response or 24-hour availability.

13. Service Changes

We may make reasonable changes to the service where necessary. We will not remove the main benefit of the service without appropriate notice.

14. Complaints

If you are unhappy with the service, please contact us first so that we can try to resolve the issue.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply to you.
